The company “PANAGIOTIS KARAMOSCHOS & ASSOCIATES LP” under the distinctive title “MTC – MAKEDONIKI TECHNICAL COMPANY” was founded in 1992 by the senior stakeholder Panagiotis Karamoschos, a Surveyor Engineer, currently the senior stakeholder and CEO of the firm.
MTC is seated in Thessaloniki, Greece, with branches in Athens, Kastoria, Serres, Alexandroupolis, and Kavala, which are all fully equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment for the implementation of the activities of the company in a highly standardized manner.
The company is accredited by a Quality Management System Certification according to standard ISO 9001:2015 and an Information Security Management System Certification according to standard ISO/IEC 27001:2013.
MTC is registered in the Technical Chamber of Greece with registration number 1365, in General Commercial Register (G.Ε.ΜI.) with registration number 122793205000, in the Hellenic Association of Consulting Firms (HELLASCO) and in the Association of Geoinformatics and Cadastral Companies (SEGEK).
MTC is internationally certified as it is a member of D&B – Dun & Bradstreet, Universal Business Crediting System (http://dnb.com) with registration number DUNS®: 35-530-6904.
MTC in the performance of all their services and projects is committed to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), with the Health and Safety principles and the Code of Conduct rules and responsibilities set by the company.
The Company also encourages the implementation of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) policy throughout their activities.
Moreover MTC is registered as a Firm regulated by RICS, since June 2019, with a firm registration number 824560.
Human Resources
The scientific manpower of the firm comprises of more than 250 scientists, mostly engineers and of other specialties, such as IT and GIS experts, economists and lawyers.
In its majority, MTC personnel has a longstanding collaboration with the firm and significant expertise in their specialties and in the use of specialized software and tools in their various activities. The manpower of MTC works in an operational environment, encouraging team spirit and creativity, aiming at the company’s services best quality by providing the appropriate tools, incentives and workplace.
The company's human resources are made up of the vast majority of university and postgraduate education executives, most of whom have a long-standing relationship. The high level of executives of the company combined with their long experience and their specialization in the fields they deal with ensures the quality of service provided to its clients and constitutes the guarantee for the efficiency and high level of services of the company.
Aim of the company is the exploitation of the high scientific and technical level and expertise of their human resources towards providing quality services and succeeding constantly upgrading through the continuous training and incorporation of new operation procedures and technologies.
Premises - Equipment
MTC headquarters are seated in Thessaloniki, totalling an area of more than 1.000sq.m.
The IT infrastructure of MTC supports the following activities:
- Operating Environment - All services, which ensure the smooth and orderly operation of the company (office automation, external electronic communications, etc.).
- Development Environment - Is the set of services for the implementation environment of studies and projects undertaken by the company.
- Dissemination of Information / Information Sharing with external parties, in which the parties have Secure remote access via various data transmission networks.
- Customer Support Environment - Includes the infrastructure that ensures maximum efficiency in customer support (Help Desk, management tools and support systems of the client, testing platforms).
The company has in-house Data Center infrastructure, taking full advantage of virtualization technologies, consisting of 8 physical servers (Hyper-V Nodes), with 90TB data storage systems, and backup storage systems of the same capacity located in its branches for data redundancy.
The company utilizes more than 180 personal computers and 40 high-performance workstations while there are a number of peripheral devices such as Scanners, Plotters, Printers etc.
MTC uses fiber optic internet connections (500Mbps) and backup internet connections (dual 50Mbps), ensuring that the company’s services and internet connectivity are never interrupted.
MTC also uses UAV's for capturing aerial photos as needed for the elaboration of complex projects and has two UAV pilots certified by the Greek CAA.
